CRUSADE
The crusade is viewed as part of an ongoing evangelistic program which is mainly backed by prior
efforts to build authentic relationships with our colleagues on campus.
It is the reaping stage of the evangelistic cycle plan which the structure engages in. The evangelistic
cycle plan of the church is composed of the following stages;
Revival (The main activity is a week of prayer each first semester), Equipping (meetings

It is God's desire that we reach wholistic perfection in all aspects of our lives. Sadly we tend to neglect our health. During this week our main aim is to learn how we may prosper in health and be able to do that which the Lord wants us to do.

during the semester have a continuous underlying idea and theme of equipping structure members to
evangelise), Community Outreach (The main activities include Orientation, Opening function,
Health Expos, door to door and campus witnessing activities during weeks leading to each week of
prayer, crusade or other evangelistic campaign event. Books, journals and other literature
distribution is also done), Reaping (The main activity is a two week Crusade on campus which has a
goal of baptising candidates who have been prepared during the course of the semester) and
Nurture and Follow-up (The main activities include Social Sunday meetings and Closing functions).
The structure follows this evangelistic cycle as a measure to try to ensure that our evangelism is not
an “event” but an ongoing, day to day mission for each structure member on campus which leads to
the crusade and continues after.
The Executive and the Witnessing Committee help to organise the structure to manage these
activities.
